About the Role

Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Perform month end and year end closing activities
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts
- Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and company policies
- Support VAT return preparation and filing
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable balances and ensure proper recording
- Assist in revenue recognition and expense allocation processes
- Coordinate with billing and invoicing teams to ensure accurate financial data
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all accounting activities
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–5 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and financial reporting
- Good understanding of UAE VAT compliance and filing
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Overview
