Role Overview

  • Execute sales activities and sales plan in assigned area/region/customer to achieve sales KPI and targets

Accountabilities

  • Acts as Sales team interface with customers and other departments
  • Coordinates with Sales Manager to review ongoing contracts
  • Reviews initial sales contracts, amendments, pricing letters for adherence to policies
  • Reviews customer complaints and provides response or escalates
  • Operates customer portal and provides first line support
  • Ensures customer data maintained in SAP, SPPE, CRM and other platforms

Operation Planning

  • Monitors agreed sales plan and measures performance against targets
  • Prepares periodic sales operations report and coordinates with production scheduling

Day to Day Operations

  • Oversees day to day operations of Sales team for assigned area/region
  • Organizes region sales to maintain minimum stock while achieving targets
  • Conducts periodic review meetings with sales representatives

Sales Activities

  • Coordinates with Logistics for scheduling and shipment
  • Coordinates with Legal and Compliance for legal review of contracts
  • Coordinates with credit, accounts receivable, insurance, and other departments

External Relationship Management

  • Develop strong relationships with external customers

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Sales/Commercials or related
  • Must be based in Singapore

Minimum Experience

  • 2 3 years relevant experience in Marketing, Sales or Commercial area in similar industry, preferably with international experience

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of aluminium smelting industry
  • Knowledge of commercial and operational systems/processes
  • Understanding of a wide range of cultures and business practices
  • Knowledge of ISO/TS and other quality requirements
  • Ability to converse in English and Arabic
  • Good knowledge of Sales and Marketing process flows
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Planning and organising skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good team player
  • Can work under pressure
