- Perform general maintenance and repair activities for manufacturing plant equipment
- Operate workshop machinery including lathe, milling, drilling, and grinding machines safely and efficiently
- Repair damaged mechanical components such as shafts, bushes, sleeves, and other fabricated parts during equipment breakdowns
- Carry out machining, fitting, and fabrication work as per maintenance requirements
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities to reduce equipment downtime
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications where required
- Inspect repaired components to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards
- Maintain workshop tools, machinery, and equipment in good working condition
- Follow company safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and maintenance best practices
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team to ensure timely completion of repair work
Requirements
- Experience in general maintenance and repair of manufacturing plant equipment
- Proficiency in operating lathe, milling, drilling, and grinding machines
- Ability to repair mechanical components such as shafts, bushes, sleeves
- Skills in machining, fitting, and fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
