Responsibilities
- Document, erect, alter, install, align, repair, replace, disassemble, reassemble, move, and inspect rotating equipment
- Alter and overhaul rotors, turbines, disc and blade holders, shafts, sleeves, gears, couplings, and other equipment
- Set up all equipment needed to complete jobs using appropriate tooling and specifications
- Accurately measure and record all critical clearances and dimensions on turbines, compressors, and associated machinery
- Read and comprehend engineering drawings, sketches, work scopes, and verbal instructions
- Process documentation such as inspection reports, photo logs, and hold tags
- Maintain proficiency to pass annual dimensional inspection test
- Promote safety and quality, maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions and irregularities
- Work effectively in a team environment and help train other hourly employees
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of lifting, rigging, crane, and forklift operations
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, sketches, and work scopes
- Proficiency in using micrometers, indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
- Experience with overhaul of rotors, turbines, gears, couplings, and rotating equipment
- Ability to pass annual dimensional inspection test

Mechanical Execution & Overhaul
- Document, erect, alter, install, align, repair, replace, disassemble, reassemble, move, and inspect most rotating equipment
- Alter and overhaul rotors, turbines, disc and blade holders, shafts, sleeves, gears, couplings, and all other forms of equipment necessary to complete the job
- Set up all equipment needed to complete jobs; use appropriate equipment, tooling, and specifications to perform primary functions
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and accuracy in using micrometers, indicators, calipers, gauges, and other required tools
- Accurately measure and record all critical clearances and dimensions on turbines, compressors, and associated machinery
Quality, Safety & Documentation
- Read and comprehend engineering drawings, sketches, work scopes, and verbal instructions
