Responsibilities
- Perform layout, complex setups, manual and CNC machining including subassembly, tool setting, deburring, dimensional inspections, and final assembly
- Read mechanical drawings and plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and geometric dimensions and tolerances
- Operate CNC mills and lathes by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and proving part programs
- Set up CNC mills and lathes by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, attachments, collets, and indicating vices
- Verify settings by measuring positions, first run part, and sample workpieces; adhere to international standards
- Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, cutting operations; troubleshoot and adjust processes
- Maintain equipment by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions
- Document actions by completing production and quality logs
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in CNC and manual machining
- G Code Experience with Fanuc Control
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and plan machining
- CNC Programming cum machining experience desired

Overview
- To perform all required layout, complex setups, manual and CNC machining. This includes subassembly, tool setting, deburring of parts, dimensional inspections, and final assembly of components according to required specifications in a timely manner.
- Ability to plan and oversee work with minimal supervision while directing other employees. Ability to train other employees on all functions and processes within the department.
Responsibilities
- Conducts him or herself in a professional manner at all times.
- Promotes safety and quality at all times.
- Experienced and adept at manual and CNC machining Alloy and non alloys materials using CNC Horizontal turning lathe and Horizontal Boring cum milling machine.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances.
- Operates CNC mills and lathes, by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
- Set up CNC mills and lathes, by installing and adjusting three and four jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, stock pushers; indicating vices; and tramming heads.
- Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling
- Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
- Verifies settings by measuring positions, first run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
- Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to qua
