Overview & Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Customer Service Coordinator (Export & Logistics) to plan, coordinate, and execute the efficient international traffic movement of finished goods sold to overseas customers.
  • Serving as a critical link between international clients, internal teams, and global carriers, you will ensure all shipments meet scheduled requirements, compliance regulations, and cost standards.
  • This role is also responsible for planning and coordinating the daily activities of our Service Parts export shipping operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer & Order Coordination: Partner with Service Parts Customer Service Representatives to review export order requirements.
  • Client Liaison: Obtain precise export shipping instructions and documentation from international customers.
  • Logistics Communications: Coordinate shipment information between customers, freight forwarders, and carriers.
  • Invoicing Support: Supply shipping papers and documents to complete shipments and render invoices in compliance with export regulations.
  • Scheduling & Routing: Plan and schedule daily export customer shipping requirements, routing via most economical mode.
  • Forwarder & Carrier Management: Coordinate with freight forwarders, obtain competitive quotations, and verify insurance.
  • Tracking & Compliance: Monitor transit and maintain knowledge of international export regulations.
  • Hazmat Documentation: Prepare hazardous material shipping documentation as required.
  • Financial Compliance: Interpret Letter of Credit documents and complete banking documentation for payment.
  • Internal Alignment: Work with transportation clerk to ensure shipping methods meet customer PO requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in international shipping, export documentation, and handling export functions.
  • Direct experience with freight forwarders, shipping carriers, and Letters of Credit.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Working Conditions

  • This role is based on site, requiring regular time spent in a warehouse environment.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required in designated warehouse areas.
  • Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.

Base Location & Work Schedule

  • This is a full time permanent position based in KEZAD Free Zone in Abu Dhabi.
