- Manage day to day workshop operations and maintenance activities
- Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for vehicles and heavy equipment
- Lead and coordinate technicians, mechanics, and workshop staff
- Ensure timely repair of equipment to minimize downtime
- Monitor workshop productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement requirements
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, company procedures, and manufacturer standards
- Control maintenance costs and manage the workshop budget effectively
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, job cards, and performance reports
- Coordinate with project, fleet, and operations teams to ensure equipment availability
- Liaise with external vendors for specialized repairs and services
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop performance and equipment reliability
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in workshop or fleet maintenance
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, and maintenance planning
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, workshop operations, and spare parts management
- Good leadership, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices
