Job Purpose
- Responsible for the Operational Supervision on the Offshore Artificial Islands.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for the operational supervision on the offshore artificial islands.
- Maintain exemplary standards of operation and safety.
- Ensure company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards are met.
- Demonstrate visible leadership on all HSEQ matters.
- Report and investigate any accidents, incidents, or near miss events.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks, monthly safety days, and weekly/monthly safety meetings.
- Ensure adherence to operational procedures and report any changes.
- Interact with clients and subcontractors to ensure safe and timely operations.
- Supervise daily operations and lifting activities on the islands.
- Monitor the operations/lifting teams to ensure adherence to company procedures.
- Identify potential career development opportunities for staff.
- Complete and submit reports in a timely manner.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Graduation or Secondary schooling education with solid work experience.
- Clear understanding of Speedy Values.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Product knowledge.
- Willingness to work on a rotational basis on a remote offshore location.
- Flexible attitude to duties.
- Ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- Capability to take ownership and responsibility.
- Ability to adapt to individual and operational change.
- Ability to motivate and control a team.
- Fluent in written and verbal communication in English.
- HSE Qualification (IOSH or above).
Salary & Rotation
- Salary: 10200 AED
- Rotation: 45/21
