Job Purpose
Clean and maintain customer vehicles to a high standard before delivery.
Ensure vehicles are washed, dried, and presented in a clean and professional condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and clean vehicles using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
- Clean and vacuum vehicle interiors, including seats, carpets, dashboards, and door panels.
- Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, and other exterior vehicle parts.
- Remove dust, dirt, grease, and other stains from vehicles.
- Apply tire dressing and approved cleaning products as required.
- Ensure vehicles are properly dried to prevent water marks and stains.
- Handle pressure washers, vacuum cleaners, and other tools safely.
- Inspect vehicles after washing and report existing damage, scratches, dents, or other issues.
- Maintain the washing area and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
- Follow workshop safety, environmental, and chemical-handling procedures.
- Assist the workshop team with vehicle movement when required and authorized.
- Handle customer vehicles carefully and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a car washer, vehicle cleaner, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Automotive workshop or car detailing experience is advantageous.
- Ability to operate basic car washing and cleaning equipment.
- Good knowledge of vehicle cleaning methods and products.
- Physically fit and able to work for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards.
- Responsible, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills in English are preferred.
