Job Purpose

Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.

Ensure compliance with UAE labour regulations, WPS requirements, company policies, and employee recordkeeping standards.

Payroll Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll within the scheduled timeline.
  • Prepare WPS salary files and coordinate salary processing with banks or exchange houses.
  • Verify attendance, overtime, leave, unpaid leave, deductions, allowances, commissions, and other adjustments.
  • Maintain records of salary changes, increments, deductions, transfers, and new joiners.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance on payroll inputs, employee changes, and salary payments.
  • Calculate leave salary, deductions, unpaid leave, overtime, and other employee entitlements.
  • Prepare final settlements including salary, leave settlement, gratuity or end-of-service benefits, deductions, and other payments.
  • Verify payroll against employment contracts and approved salary structures.
  • Process new joiners, resignations, terminations, and employee transfers in the payroll system.
  • Reconcile payroll reports with bank, WPS, and accounting records.
  • Handle employee payroll queries and resolve salary-related discrepancies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee salary and personal information.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Prepare monthly payroll, variance, headcount, and management reports.
  • Maintain documentation and filing of payroll records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Stay updated on UAE labour law, WPS requirements, and payroll-related regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required payroll documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two to five years of UAE payroll experience, preferably including WPS.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE payroll practices and labour regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with WPS salary processing.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and payroll reconciliation.
  • Experience with HRMS or payroll software such as Paylite or similar systems is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under strict payroll deadlines.

Compensation

  • The stated salary is AED 4,000 per month.

Work Location

  • The role is performed in person.
