The Auto Painter is responsible for painting and refinishing cars after body repairs.
The role focuses on accurate color matching, smooth application, and high-quality finishing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare car surfaces through sanding, masking, filling, and priming.
- Mix and match automotive paint colors accurately.
- Paint vehicle panels using spray guns and painting equipment.
- Apply primer, basecoat, and clearcoat as required.
- Perform color blending and refinishing on repaired areas.
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects and ensure a smooth finish.
- Polish and complete final finishing of painted panels.
- Maintain spray guns, tools, and painting equipment.
- Follow workshop safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Two to five years of experience as an Auto Painter in a car bodyshop.
- Good knowledge of automotive paint materials and color matching.
- Skill in spray painting, blending, and finishing.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- UAE experience is an advantage.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in an automotive workshop.
