Clean and maintain customers’ vehicles to a high standard before delivery.
Ensure vehicles are washed, dried, and presented in a clean and professional condition.
Vehicle Cleaning Duties
- Wash and clean vehicles using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
- Perform exterior washing, drying, and cleaning.
- Clean and vacuum seats, carpets, dashboards, and door panels.
- Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, and other exterior parts.
- Remove dust, dirt, grease, and stains.
- Apply tire dressing and other approved products as required.
- Dry vehicles properly to prevent water marks and stains.
Equipment and Quality Control
- Handle pressure washers, vacuum cleaners, and other tools safely.
- Inspect vehicles after washing to ensure all areas are properly cleaned.
- Report existing damage, scratches, dents, or other issues noticed during cleaning.
- Maintain the washing area and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
Workshop Procedures
- Follow workshop safety, environmental, and chemical-handling procedures.
- Assist the workshop team with vehicle movement when required and authorized.
- Handle customer vehicles carefully and professionally at all times.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Workshop Supervisor or management.
- The work location is in person.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a car washer, vehicle cleaner, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Automotive workshop or car detailing experience is advantageous.
- Ability to operate basic car washing and cleaning equipment.
- Good knowledge of vehicle cleaning methods and products.
- Physical fitness for extended periods of work.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards.
- Responsible, punctual, and hardworking approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills in English are preferred.
