Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a smile and maintain a positive attitude at all times
- Ensure check in and check out are made in line with established standards
- Keep section perfectly tidy and refill stationary as required
- Attend daily briefings and report any problems to supervisor
- Record all guests checked in on immigration reports (CID) the same day
- Guide VIP guests and Executive floor bookings to the 22nd Floor
- Handle guest requests and provide assistance
- Perform full handover at end of shift, including cashier report
- Take every opportunity to sell hotel facilities and services to guests
- Respect privacy and confidentiality of all hotel patrons
- Know duties and responsibilities in case of fire
Requirements

Role Overview
- The welcomer will keep at all times a perfect grooming (uniform, tag, make up, tidy hair).
- Always keep a smile on. A positive attitude is a must for all welcomers.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up: Act quickly and efficiently, following instructions received by supervisor.
- Organization: Ensure section is perfectly tidy at all times, refill stationary, follow circuits of operations strictly.
- C/I & C/O: Ensure all check in and check out are made in line with standards, attentive on audit, immigration & guest history issues.
- Communication: Attend daily morning Supervisor briefing, FO handover briefing & Front Desk Committee; report any problem or question to supervisor; read reception logbook at beginning of shift.
- Immigration records: Ensure all guests checked in during shift are fully recorded on accurate immigration reports (CID as per UAE law).
- Executive Bookings & VIP: Ensure each VIP guest or Executive floor booking is guided quickly to the 22nd Floor.
- Guest requests follow up: Be ready to help the guest with any request.
- Handover: At end of shift, clear station and do full and detailed handover with following shift; check cashier report is correct.
- Selling / Up selling: Take every opportunity to sell hotel facilities and services to guests.
- Privacy: Respect privacy/confidentiality of all hotel patrons.
- Security: Know duties & responsibility in eventuality of fire; ensure all standards and procedures are followed strictly.
