Job Description

  • The welcomer will keep at all times a perfect grooming and positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Always keep a smile on and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Act quickly and efficiently, following instructions from supervisor.
  • Ensure section is perfectly tidy and stationary is refilled as required.
  • Ensure all C/I and C/O are made in line with standards, especially audit, immigration & guest history.
  • Be attentive to information during briefings and report problems to supervisor.
  • Read reception logbook at beginning of shift, follow up and keep it updated.
  • Ensure all guests checked in during shift are recorded on immigration reports (CID as per UAE law).
  • Guide VIP guests and Executive floor bookings to the 22nd Floor.
  • Be ready to help guests with any request.
  • Clear station at end of shift and do full handover, ensuring cashier report is correct.
  • Take every opportunity to sell hotel facilities and services.
  • Respect privacy/confidentiality of all hotel patrons and know duties in case of fire.
