The employer is seeking a Warehouse Manager for a food industry business operating between Ajman and Sharjah.
The role oversees warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, staff, food safety, and logistics coordination for perishable goods.
Key responsibilities
- Manage receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of food products.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage conditions for food safety and cold chain requirements.
- Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff across a six-day operating week.
- Maintain real-time SAP inventory records, stock counts, cycle counts, and full inventory audits.
- Monitor spoilage, wastage, expiry losses, FIFO, and FEFO compliance.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with procurement, sales, logistics, transportation, and fleet teams.
- Manage warehouse KPIs, budgets, equipment audits, documentation, and performance reporting.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, municipality, health, and safety compliance.
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of warehouse management experience in the food industry or related perishable-goods sector.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP WM/MM or equivalent inventory management functionality.
- Current UAE-based warehouse management experience.
- Strong knowledge of food storage standards, cold chain handling, and expiry or batch management.
- Experience managing warehouse teams and knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, cycle counting, and stock reconciliation.
- Ability to work 6 days per week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and be based between Ajman and Sharjah.
- Good command of English.
Preferred qualifications
- HACCP awareness is preferred.
- A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
- Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an advantage for staff supervision.
