Manage fleet operations to deliver food products safely, reliably, and cost effectively.
Location and schedule
- The description places the role between Ajman and Sharjah, UAE.
- Schedule: 5 days per week, from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm.
Mandatory requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Fleet Manager in the food industry.
- UAE experience is required.
- SAP capability for relevant fleet, maintenance, or logistics processes is mandatory.
Fleet operations
- Plan vehicle allocation, delivery routes, and driver schedules with dispatch and sales.
- Manage preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and vehicle availability.
- Maintain fleet records in SAP.
- Monitor fuel consumption, transport costs, utilization, and delivery performance.
- Investigate variances.
Compliance and service coordination
- Supervise drivers and reinforce safe driving and clean vehicles suitable for food distribution.
- Coordinate vehicle registration, insurance, service providers, and incident reporting.
- Maintain delivery documentation and support traceability and customer issue resolution.
Skills and capabilities
- Hands-on SAP capability for relevant fleet, maintenance, or logistics processes.
- Strong route planning, team supervision, reporting, and vendor coordination skills.
