Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming spare parts, tools, and supplies

Requirements

- Hands on experience with inventory management software and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming spare parts, tools, and supplies, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Accurately label, bin, and store all items in a systematic and organized manner for easy retrieval.
- Maintain optimal stock levels by monitoring inventory and proactively generating purchase requisitions for critical spares to prevent shortages.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and comprehensive physical inventory audits to ensure 100% accuracy between physical stock and system records.
- Manage the issuance of parts to workshop technicians and field service engineers against approved job cards and work orders.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and secure at all times, adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Update and maintain accurate records in the company's inventory management system (e.g., ERP software like Oracle, SAP, or a dedicated CMMS).
- Process all transactions promptly, including goods receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on stock levels, movements, and discrepancies.
- Assist in the processing of supplier invoices for reconciliation.
- Manage the tooling library, ensuring all calibrated and special tools are issued, returned, and maintained correctly.
- Support the workshop by ensuring the availability of critical consumables (oils, filters, greases) and PPE.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors preferably in related discipline. A diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 5 years of experience as a Warehouse in charge/supervisor or in a similar inventory management role, preferably within the heavy equipment, automotive, construction, or industrial machinery industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical spare parts (e.g., filters, hoses, bearings, seals, electrical components) for heavy machinery is essential.
- Hands on experience with inventory management software and strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for data analysis and reporting).

- Meticulous Attention to Detail: Uncompromising accuracy in counting, recording, and managing stock.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to organize a warehouse for maximum space utilization and efficiency.
- Initiative & Proactivity: A self starter who can identify issues like low stock or discrepancies without always being directed.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Arabic, Hindi, Urdu and Mandarin will be added advantage.
- Integrity: High level of honesty and reliability due to the responsibility of managing valuable company assets.
