Job Summary
- The Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking food and beverage orders, serving guests efficiently, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Present menus and explain menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages promptly according to the hotel's service standards.
- Ensure guests are satisfied throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues to the supervisor when necessary.
- Set up tables before service and clear tables after guests leave.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area, service stations, and equipment.
- Ensure proper table settings, including cutlery, crockery, glassware, and condiments.
- Process guest bills accurately and handle cash or card payments when required.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Comply with company grooming, uniform, and hygiene policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Hospitality or Food & Beverage certification is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant is preferred; freshers with a positive attitude may also apply.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; Hindi or other languages are an added advantage.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.

Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
