Job Summary

Customer Service

• Welcome guests and escort them to tables when required.
• Present menus and explain menu items, promotions, and daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
• Recommend items based on guest preferences.
• Provide exceptional service throughout the dining experience.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally, escalating concerns when necessary.

Food and Beverage Service

• Serve food and beverages promptly according to company service standards.
• Ensure orders are accurate before serving.
• Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs.
• Clear used dishes and maintain table cleanliness.
• Prepare tables for new guests in a timely manner.

Restaurant Operations

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining areas, service stations, and assigned sections.
• Ensure tables are properly set before service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Refill condiments, cutlery, napkins, and other dining essentials.

Cash Handling and POS

• Process customer bills accurately.
• Handle cash, card, and digital payments according to company procedures.
• Balance bills and ensure payment accuracy.

Teamwork

• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, cashiers, supervisors, and team members.
• Assist colleagues during busy service periods.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills in English.
• Basic POS system knowledge.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Arabic, Hindi, or other languages are an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

• 1–2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• QSR or casual dining experience is preferred.
• UAE experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
