Role Overview

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform food and beverage service according to the hotel's performance standards.
• Greet and seat guests and provide professional, discreet, and personalized service.
• Maintain menu knowledge and advise guests about food and beverage options.
• Monitor food and beverage quality and handle customer complaints and queries.
• Maintain outlet hygiene, cleanliness, and service equipment.
• Complete service preparations before, during, and after service, including mise en place.
• Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage.
• Use upselling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.
• Operate safely and in an environmentally friendly manner.

Experience and Skills

• Previous hospitality industry experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Candidates should be responsible, reliable, able to work under pressure, and able to work cohesively in a team.
• Candidates should remain calm and courteous while focusing attention on guest needs.
• Arabic, French, Russian, or other additional language skills are an asset.

Physical Aspects

• The role involves constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
• The role may involve occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and using ladders, stairs, and ramps.
