The Housekeeping Supervisor leads and supervises the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department.
The role is responsible for maintaining service standards and supporting professional guest service.
Job Description
- Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Lead daily housekeeping operations and ensure service standards are followed.
- Handle guest concerns promptly, including logging issues and notifying appropriate departments.
- Participate in daily briefings, warm-ups, and departmental meetings.
- Inform room attendants about daily priorities in their sections.
- Follow departmental policies and procedures.
- Report necessary maintenance items.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience is an asset.
- A university or college degree in a related discipline is an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- High responsibility and reliability.
- Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- The role involves constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
- The role may involve occasional lifting and carrying of up to 30 pounds.
