Job Qualifications
- A relevant diploma or qualification in hospitality, food and beverage, tourism management, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar role is required, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Knowledge of food and beverage products, service standards, and restaurant operations is required.
- Previous experience with Micros or a similar POS system is advantageous.
- Professional appearance, excellent grooming, teamwork, and shift flexibility are required.
Customer Service Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized service in line with hotel standards and the brand promise.
- Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly and professionally to requests.
- Handle guest comments, concerns, and inquiries courteously, ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution.
- Maintain positive interactions with guests and colleagues and create memorable guest experiences.
Operational Responsibilities
- Follow brand and food and beverage service standards consistently.
- Welcome and seat guests, present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverages according to established procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, beverages, promotions, and special offerings.
- Recommend and upsell food and beverage items based on guest preferences.
- Set, clear, and reset tables and maintain assigned stations and service areas.
- Use the Micros/POS system for orders and billing, present accurate bills, and process payments securely.
