Spa Therapist

Role Overview

Job Qualifications

• An international certification in massage therapy, spa therapy, beauty therapy, physical therapy, or a related field is required.
• At least two years of experience in a luxury spa, wellness center, or hospitality environment is required.
• Strong knowledge of spa treatments, wellness therapies, and guest care is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards are required.
• The role requires flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Spa Operations

• Deliver spa treatments and therapies according to established standards and treatment protocols.
• Prepare, clean, and fully stock treatment rooms before and after each treatment.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation standards throughout spa facilities.
• Maintain equipment and supplies and report repair or replacement needs.
• Stay current with industry trends, treatment techniques, and product knowledge.

Guest Service

• Deliver personalized, professional, and memorable experiences to all guests.
• Conduct consultations to understand individual needs and recommend suitable treatments.
• Handle guest requests, inquiries, and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain guest history records and treatment preferences.
• Build guest relationships and encourage repeat visits through exceptional service.

Administration

• Maintain treatment records, appointment schedules, and operational documentation accurately.
• Follow departmental policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
• Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and briefings.
• Assist with inventory control and stock management for treatment supplies and retail products.

Health, Safety, and Finance

• Follow hotel and spa health, safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures.
• Ensure equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition.
• Support cost-control initiatives through proper use of products, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure services are charged and recorded accurately according to hotel procedures.

People and Culture

• Foster positive working relationships with colleagues across departments.

• Maintain professional grooming, conduct, and appearance standards.
