Job Purpose

Profitability and Financial Analysis

• Maintain profitability analysis models covering customer segments, sectors, products, and locations.
• Deliver analysis explaining the causes and mechanisms of profitability and cost impacts.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and predict possible future financial scenarios.
• Provide key indicators on profitability and costs for target segments, products, and locations.

Month-End Review and Reporting

• Review international financial results by trends and drivers across products, segments, countries, corridors, clients, and general ledger accounts.
• Assess the integrity of country financial information across accounting, tax, regulatory, and head-office requirements.
• Create analytical reporting and monthly customer financial analysis for profitability and returns.
• Support production of monthly customer financial management information for international business reviews.

Strategy and Business Review

• Provide strategic input to country and international business reviews based on trends, drivers, and profitability analysis.
• Represent the International CFO in optimization and transformation initiatives.
• Prepare or critique business cases and initiatives intended to improve country or international performance.

Reporting, Transformation, and Governance

• Support capital, financial, regulatory, and tax analysis with country Finance, Group Finance, Group Tax, and Capital Management.
• Recommend cost savings, RWA optimization, ECL model review, and tax analysis improvements.
• Support international MI, performance management, and financial governance framework implementation.
• Provide interim country CFO support or hands-on capacity for regional and country finance projects when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or professional qualification such as ACA, CPA, or MBA.
• Relevant accounting or tax qualification is preferred.
• At least 10–12 years of experience across finance, business partnering, FP&A, audit, or tax functions in banking.
• Banking or financial services industry experience is required.
• Corporate tax, transfer pricing, multi-country experience, and tax accounting systems knowledge are preferred or advantageous as specified.
