Job Summary And Introduction
The Director, Structured Products & Clients Solutions is responsible for originating, structuring, and delivering tailored structured products and client solutions across relevant asset classes, supporting revenue growth and franchise development within Global Markets. The role is responsible for managing strategic client engagement, identifying market opportunities, partnering with Trading, Sales, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Coverage teams, and ensuring solutions are executed within the Bank’s risk appetite, governance framework and regulatory standards while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead market, client and product analysis to identify structured product opportunities, assess client needs, evaluate risk-return dynamics and support the development of executable solutions across relevant asset classes.
- Develop and maintain senior client relationships by understanding client objectives, risk appetite, market views and investment or hedging requirements.
- Originate, structure and coordinate tailored structured product solutions in partnership with Trading, Sales, Coverage and relevant control functions.
- Prepare and present market views, trade ideas, pricing considerations and solution proposals to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Oversee documentation, approvals, execution readiness and post-trade coordination to ensure transactions are delivered accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Drive client penetration, cross-sell and wallet share by identifying opportunities that align with FAB’s product capabilities, risk appetite and strategic priorities.
- Manage the structured products pipeline, prioritise opportunities, monitor deal progress and ensure timely escalation of execution, pricing, documentation or operational issues.
- Ensure all client activity, onboarding, KYC, suitability, compliance and regulatory requirements are completed in line with Bank policies and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with Trading, Quant, Technology and Operations teams to enhance pricing tools, collateral monitoring, workflow efficiency and overall platform capability.
- Ensure all activities are conducted within approved policies, product governance standards, dealing mandates, market conduct requirements and operational procedures.
- Produce and maintain accurate pipeline, revenue, risk, collateral, client activity and management reporting to support business monitoring and decision making.
- Lead origination and structuring of bespoke structured product and client solution opportunities, including equity-linked financing, structured notes, repo financing, derivatives-based solutions and other relevant products aligned to client needs and approved product capabilities.
- Act as a senior product specialist and trusted advisor to Sales, Coverage and clients by providing technical expertise, market insight, pricing analysis and structuring alternatives.
- Support platform development by identifying process enhancements, automation opportunities, pricing improvements and reporting solutions that strengthen the Structured Products & Clients Solutions franchise.
Requirements And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of Global Markets products, structured products, derivatives, financing solutions, risk management concepts and FAB’s business strategy.
- Ability to originate and structure client solutions, assess risk-return trade-offs and translate market opportunities into executable transactions.
- Advanced analytical, financial modelling, pricing and problem-solving skills.
- Strong client engagement, communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency with relevant banking, trading, market data and risk systems, including Bloomberg, Murex or other applicable platforms.
- Sound understanding of collateral management, documentation, product governance, compliance and operational risk requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage live market risk, prioritize multiple transactions and maintain attention to detail.
- Collaborative leadership style with the ability to coach junior colleagues and contribute to a high-performing, controlled and client-focused culture.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Global Markets, structured products, structuring, trading, sales, treasury or client solutions, with demonstrated experience originating, structuring and executing client transactions.

- Master’s degree, CFA, FRM or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
