Job Summary
The AVP, HR Onboarding position focuses on strengthening the onboarding experience and supporting Emiratization goals.
The role manages onboarding for new hires, internal transfers, and migration staff while improving workflow efficiency and compliance.
The position aims to enhance candidate experience through structured processes and timely communication.
General Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end onboarding activities, including document collection, visa processing, and induction scheduling.
- Liaise with HR business partners, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure smooth joining formalities.
- Ensure adherence to internal SOPs and regulatory requirements, including CID checks, financial clearance, and visa issuance.
- Track onboarding KPIs and turnaround times for efficiency.
- Manage the onboarding dashboard.
- Coordinate pre-joining visa and work permit processing, overseas-hire travel logistics, and IT setup.
- Coordinate day-one account activation, access card issuance, and induction programs.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Support Emiratization targets.
- Improve the onboarding experience for high-caliber talent.
- Support organizational transformation initiatives that improve onboarding processes and candidate experience.
Know-How and Experience Required
- Strong understanding of HR onboarding.
- Excellent grasp of strategy development frameworks and execution models.
- Proficiency in data analysis, research, and storytelling through presentations.
- Ability to synthesize insights from internal metrics and external benchmarks.
- Experience preparing materials for senior leadership and driving cross-functional alignment.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, connect information across functions, and influence stakeholders without authority.
