Role Overview
The employer is seeking an Automotive Videographer with experience filming cars and automotive services.
The role focuses on creating high-quality cinematic content for vehicles, detailing work, PPF installation, paint correction, ceramic coating, and related car-care services.
Responsibilities
- Film luxury, sports, and premium vehicles, including dynamic rolling shots when required.
- Capture detailed footage of vehicle exteriors, interiors, wheels, paintwork, and finishing.
- Create Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube videos, promotional content, and vehicle transformation videos.
- Plan content concepts and shooting schedules with the marketing team.
- Set up and operate cameras, gimbals, lighting, microphones, and other filming equipment.
- Edit and color-grade videos, adding music, sound effects, captions, and transitions.
- Maintain production equipment and organize, store, and back up footage and project files.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Videographer or Content Creator.
- Previous experience filming cars and automotive businesses is required.
- Strong practical experience with Sony cameras and gimbals.
- Knowledge of camera settings, lenses, composition, lighting, and camera movement.
- Strong video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects.
- Knowledge of color correction, color grading, and social media video formats.
- Ability to work in a busy workshop environment, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- An automotive videography portfolio or showreel is required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Sony Alpha or Sony FX camera systems.
- Experience with DJI or similar professional gimbals.
- Experience filming luxury and high-performance vehicles.
- Knowledge of automotive detailing, car-care processes, automotive lighting, and reflections.
- Experience creating viral automotive Reels and TikTok content.
