Requirements
- Completion of training modules specified for PG5 position
- One year of experience in heavy industry
- Possession of Forklift Licence Category 7
- Completion of courses: Aluminium/Water Explosions, Electrical hazards

Job Purpose
- To assist the Operator, Cell Relining in refurbishment of superstructures and cell relining activities such as pot changing, rebuilding pot shell, ensuring these are carried out safely and efficiently to achieve maximum production.
Key Accountabilities
- Assists cell relining operator preparing in advance all necessary tools and equipment required for casting prior to actual operations.
- Operates mobile equipment such as forklift, pay loader etc., as required complying with all safety procedures.
- Assists cell relining operator bricks lining in accordance with required standards and specified designs.
- Assists in carrying out superstructure refurbishment, welding and fabrication jobs, and capable of performing ramming processes.
- Maintains a high standard of housekeeping at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum Qualifications: Completion of training modules specified for PG5 position.
- Minimum Experience: One year of experience in heavy industry is preferable.
- Skills: Completion of courses: Aluminium/Water Explosions, Electrical hazards; Possession of Forklift Licence Category 7.
