About the Role
Emirates Global Aluminium seeks an Associate Manager for International Payroll to oversee payroll operations across multiple countries. The role requires 8+ years of payroll or finance experience, including 4 years in management, and a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting.

Responsibilities
- Manage the development of an effective international payroll program across EGA.
- Prepare the monthly payroll in a timely accurate and secure manner for all international payrolls (Guinea, Singapore, Shanghai, Korea, Switzerland, USA).
- Liaise with international third party payroll providers for outsourced payrolls.
- Maintain master data integrity in SAP to the highest standard.
- Manage the international payroll accounting process including ownership of relevant GLs.
- Ensure compliance with local laws for tax deductions.
- Lead and develop the international payroll team.
- Prepare and recommend the functional budget and monitor financial performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting or equivalent
- 8 years of experience in payroll or accounting or finance including at least 4 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
- Experience of interacting with national/international institutions

Job Description
- Provide functional expertise and manage all operational aspects of the EGA International Payroll.
- Drive the effective development and implementation of a comprehensive employee and contractor payroll system.
- Ensure necessary controls are in place and adhered to by respective teams and stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
- Manages the development of an effective international payroll program across EGA.
- Leads and guides the development and implementation of training frameworks.
- Ensures implementation of international payroll strategy aligns with EGA’s vision and corporate objectives.
- Directs the implementation of the functional strategy.
- Manages the achievement of functional objectives through effective leadership.
- Prepares and recommends the functional budget and monitors financial performance.
- Directs and guides the development and oversees implementation of functional policies and procedures.
- Responsible for preparing the monthly payroll in a timely accurate and secure manner for all international payrolls.
- Liaises with international third party payroll providers for outsourced payrolls.
- Maintains master data integrity in SAP.
- Manages the international payroll accounting process.
- Manages day to day operations of the international payroll.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting or equivalent.
- Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP), Diploma in Payroll Management, or Diploma/Certificate In Treasury Management would be well regarded.
- 8 years of experience in payroll or accounting or finance including at least 4 years in managerial roles.
- Experience of interacting with national/international institutions.
