Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and coordinate planning, scheduling, and monitoring of logistics activities in alignment with Logistics Operations and Planning departments.
- Assist with developing and implementing logistics commercial strategies, identifying optimization opportunities, and building relationships with internal teams and vendor partners.
- Coordinate export tenders, from identifying opportunities to preparing bid proposals and expanding vendor base.
- Manage contracts including understanding disputed invoices and liaising between Legal and vendors on service agreements.
- Support annual, quarterly, and monthly logistics planning and budgeting activities.
- Monitor logistics execution, manage deviations, and coordinate action plans to achieve logistics outcomes.
- Assist in establishing and monitoring SMART KPIs to track and evaluate performance.
- Coordinate CBAM process between freight forwarders and Tax team.
- Support Sales teams with daily administrative tasks and activities as needed.
- Supervise activities of subordinates and provide feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Operation Management or related specialization
- 5 10 years relevant experience in Export Logistics in a similar industry
- Experience in logistics planning and operations with progressively increasing responsibilities

Job Overview
- In this role, you will develop, review, and coordinate the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of logistics activities in alignment with the Logistics Operations and Planning departments.
- This function is responsible for proactively planning and scheduling optimized logistics scenarios that balance quality and cost effectiveness in transportation.
- This role will also assist part time with developing and implementing logistics commercial strategies.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the Logistics Commercial Leader in planning and scheduling of shipping, trucking, freight forwarding, port activities, and ad hoc logistics suppliers.
- Accountable for developing logistics plans in collaboration with Logistics Operations, Planning, and Sales teams across various time horizons (60 70% of time).
- Longer term annual planning includes support of preparations, adjustments, and development of logistics budget.
- Mid term quarterly planning includes support of quarterly updates for logistics budget.
- Short term planning includes developing monthly plans and weekly logistics schedules.
- Coordinate logistics risks and constraints into multiple planning time horizons.
- Assist line manager on development, follow up, and implementation of projects.
- Coordinate on export tenders, from identifying opportunities to preparing bid proposals.
- Coordinate with internal departments and develop RFQs to assist Sales.
- Manage contracts including understanding disputed invoices and liaising between Legal and vendors.
Performance Management
- Assist OBL leader in establishing and monitoring SMART KPIs.
- Manage deviations, analyze root causes, and take corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain datasets for performance tracking.
- Prepare executive and routine presentations.
Administrative Activities
- CBAM process coordination between FF vendors and Tax team.
- Support Sales teams with daily administrative tasks.
- Track and trace key customers and implement logistics solutions when required.
- Perform other ad hoc logistics duties as directed.
Training and Development
- Assist OBL leader in developing and delivering training programs.
Systems and Tools
- Develop, monitor, and maintain section business processes and procedures.
- Recommend improvements to SAP, tools, systems, and AI agents.
Records / Database Management
- Establish a system for storing all logistics activities in a common repository.
Customer Relationship
- Assist management to ensure customer requirements are understood and addressed.
- Assist management to ensure customer complaints are followed up.
- Assist management to ensure contract reviews are evaluated.
Annual Sales Planning
- Assist management to develop and monitor performance against budgets and planning KPIs.
Coordination
- Regularly coordinate with line manager to highlight critical issues.
- Support line manager to cover vacations of other Logistics peers.
