Responsibilities
- Inspect and monitor utility works including water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, electrical, telecom, and other underground services
- Review and verify shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions related to utility works
- Ensure all works comply with RTA, DM, DEWA, Etisalat, DU, and other authority guidelines
- Supervise site activities for roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects, ensuring proper execution and safety compliance
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and authorities for NOCs, permits, inspections, and approvals
- Monitor relocation, protection, and diversion of existing utilities
- Conduct daily site inspections and prepare inspection reports, NCRs, and progress updates
- Verify that all utility works are executed as per approved drawings and project specifications
- Assist in resolving technical issues and site conflicts related to utilities
- Ensure proper implementation of HSE standards during utility works
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in utility inspection within UAE
- Mandatory RTA and DM approvals (must be valid or previously approved)
- Strong experience in roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects
- Excellent knowledge of UAE authority standards and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and coordination skills with contractors and authorities
- Familiarity with utility diversion, protection, and installation procedures

Role Overview
- The Utility Inspector will be responsible for supervising, monitoring, and inspecting all utility related works across roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects.
