About the Role
ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank seeks a Universal Banker for its Dubai Mall Branch to provide exceptional customer service and identify customer needs. The role combines helpdesk and customer relationship duties, including handling inquiries, processing transactions, and offering banking products.

Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and efficient service to all walk in customers
- Respond to customer inquiries, concerns and resolve issues effectively & efficiently
- Proactively identify customer needs and offer relevant products and services
- Handle liability onboarding and covered card services
- Manage debit card inquiries, account inquiries, SMS services, and dispute services
- Process standing orders, funds transfer, telex transfer, and installment postponement
- Issue certificates and e statements
- Handle returned cheque services and debit card/cheque book services
- Perform any other responsibilities entrusted by branch management
Requirements
- Knowledge of ADIB's Retail & Institutional Banking products & services
- Knowledge of ADIB's Operational Policies & Procedures
- Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations & risks
- Thorough knowledge of all regulations issued by Central Bank of UAE
- Fair knowledge of service standards
- Knowledge of cross sales
- Computer skills
- UAE National only

Role Purpose
- This role will focus on providing exceptional Customer Service, identifying and meeting customer needs, and contributions to the overall success of ADIB Branch.
- This role is a combination between Helpdesk & CRO under Branch development concept.
- This position is for UAE Nationals only.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide prompt and efficient service to all walk in customers.
- Respond to Customer inquiries, concerns and resolve issues effectively & efficiently.
- Proactively identify customer needs and proactively offer relevant Products and Services.
- Handle liability onboarding and covered card services.
- Manage debit card inquiries, account inquiries, SMS services, dispute services, standing orders, funds transfer, telex transfer, installment postponement, certificate issuance, e statement issuance, returned cheque services, debit card & cheque book services.
- Perform any other responsibilities entrusted by Branch management from time to time.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge
- Knowledge of ADIB's Retail & Institutional Banking products & services.
- Knowledge of ADIB's Operational Policies & Procedures.
- Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations & risks.
- Thorough Knowledge of all the Regulations issued by Central Bank of UAE.
- Fair knowledge of service standards.
- Knowledge of Cross Sales.
- Computer skills.
