Overview
A leading retail organization seeks a Transportation Manager to lead and develop its end-to-end transport and fleet function across a large, multi-site retail distribution network in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement transport strategy and KPI framework
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage fleet and MHE availability and maintenance
- Optimize routing, scheduling, and delivery operations
- Lead a team of drivers and transport coordinators
- Implement fleet technology and data analysis tools
- Develop and manage 3PL strategies and contracts
- Ensure compliance with transport and safety regulations
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in transport and fleet management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Expertise in operational performance and cost optimization
- Knowledge of fleet technology and data analysis
- Ability to develop and implement 3PL strategies
- Familiarity with compliance and safety regulations
