Job Objective
Provide pragmatic engineering support for new district cooling projects from development through execution.
Develop innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions for district cooling projects.
Development Support
- Attend prospective-client meetings with the Business Development team and gather data for feasibility studies and designs.
- Support negotiations with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulators.
- Facilitate commercial arrangements with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Design and Execution
- Develop concept designs, preliminary technical proposals, detailed designs, and indicative or binding proposals.
- Review technical submittals during project execution and develop employer requirements and discipline scopes of work.
- Ensure designs comply with local authority codes, standards, and regulations.
- Evaluate equipment selections, manage tenders, and report life cycle cost analysis.
- Develop energy and water consumption models and analyze hydraulic models for optimized solutions.
- Prepare district cooling documentation for license renewals.
