About the Role
Qatar Airways seeks a Transport Team Leader to oversee voyage report investigations, rostering, and vehicle maintenance for the Transport department. The role ensures on-time flight dispatching, manages equipment operators, and delivers catering services per specifications.

Responsibilities
- Conduct all Voyage Report (VR) investigations of the Transport department
- Organize all vacation and overtime daily requirements and reporting
- Collate the Monthly KPI reporting pack
- Review On Time Performance (OTP) data
- Put together overall roster of the Transport department under the guidance of the Duty Supervisors
- Involved in rostering administration, Vehicle Maintenance management and records, Ramp Safety Training records
- Deliver the Catering Services as per the Customer Specifications and in accordance with Safe Regulations
- Ensure on time dispatching of allocated flights as per the Airline Specifications/GLP & Food Safety Standard
- Responsible for checking and safe guarding of issued Tablet/Radio/Personal Protective Equipment & Probe Gun
- Responsible for loading and offloading of all flights including Complex, Ultra Long Haul (ULH), VIP, Charters, Private and other ad hoc operations
- Ensure adherence to Ramp Safety and Marshalling of HL while performing duties Airside
- Manage the allocation and performance of Equipment Operators and other drivers within Service Delivery department
Requirements
- High School Qualification with minimum 2 years of job related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 1 years of job related experience
- Valid HGV Driving License
- Excellent Communication in English (spoken and written)
- Experience of all types of aircraft handover
- Rostering experience
- Flexible in working hours and ability to work under pressure
- Attention to Detail
- Knowledge of Aircraft loading, catering vehicle loading and fleet management

Description
- As a transport team leader you will be responsible to conduct all Voyage Report (VR) investigations of the Transport department, and to organize all vacation and overtime daily requirements and reporting.

- Responsible for putting together overall roster of the Transport department under the guidance of the Duty Supervisors.
- Involved in rostering administration, Vehicle Maintenance management and records, Ramp Safety Training records.
- Responsible to deliver the Catering Services as per the Customer Specifications and in accordance with Safe Regulations set forth by the Airport Authorities.
Accountabilities
- Ensures on time dispatching of allocated flights as per the Airline Specifications/GLP & Food Safety Standard and as per the Airport Safety Regulations/Standard.
- Responsible for checking and safe guarding of issued Tablet/Radio/Personal Protective Equipment & Probe Gun.
- Conducts VR investigations for the Transport Department.
- Responsible for implementation of management instructions including aircraft delivery and handling, food safety, quality control and security.
- Responsible for loading and offloading of all flights including Complex, Ultra Long Haul (ULH), VIP, Charters, Private and other ad hoc operations, as and when required.
- Ensures adherence to Ramp Safety and Marshalling of HL while performing duties Airside.
- Responsible to manage the allocation and performance of Equipment Operators and other drivers within Service Delivery department.
- Suggests Training programs for all new and existing staff and provides timely feedback.
Qualification
- High School Qualification with minimum 2 years of job related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 1 years of job related experience.
