Role Overview
The company is launching a deal-led B2B trading platform in the Middle East.
The role provides independence and accountability for the UAE trading desk.
The platform operates as principal across markets to source, price, and distribute high-value inventory.
Buy-Side Sourcing
- Identify and develop supplier relationships across electronics and IT brands, authorized distributors, retailers, and grey-market channels.
- Source excess stock, promotional inventory, end-of-life product lines, and opportunistic deals.
- Build a consistent pipeline of quality supply across target product categories.
Sell-Side and Pricing
- Determine sales strategy for each deal, including target region, pricing, and volume allocation.
- Manage outbound distribution to qualified buyers and maximize margin realization.
- Respond to buyer RFQs and convert inbound demand into closed orders.
- Use the evaluator engine to assess deals, calculate landed costs, and set pricing.
- Monitor market pricing movements and adjust strategies dynamically.
Negotiation and Relationships
- Lead supplier negotiations on price, payment terms, and volume commitments.
- Negotiate customer pricing to maximize margin while remaining competitive.
- Build a growing supplier network across key geographies.
- Manage key buyer accounts and develop long-term trading relationships.
Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in B2B wholesale trading, distribution, or commodity dealing.
- A track record of negotiating and closing deals in competitive environments.
- Ability to manage a full deal lifecycle independently.
- An existing supplier or buyer network in electronics, IT, or related categories.
- Experience trading in or across Middle Eastern, European, or Asian markets.
- Familiarity with grey-market, excess-stock, or opportunistic trading.
