Job Responsibilities
- Install floor and wall tiles according to approved drawings and site requirements.
- Measure, mark, cut, and lay ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other tiles.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, waterproofing, and applying appropriate adhesives.
- Ensure proper tile alignment, spacing, levels, slopes, and finishing.
- Carry out grouting and silicone/sealant works neatly.
- Cut tiles accurately around corners, columns, drains, pipes, and other obstacles.
- Repair or replace damaged and uneven tiles.
- Follow approved material specifications and installation methods.
- Maintain proper workmanship, cleanliness, and safety standards at the site.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete works as per schedule.
- Use tile-cutting machines, grinders, leveling tools, and other required equipment safely.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Tile Mason / Tile Fixer.
- Experience in commercial fit-out, restaurants, shops, villas, or similar projects.
- Ability to read basic drawings and understand tile layouts.
- Good knowledge of tile adhesives, grout, leveling systems, and waterproofing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and finishing quality.
- UAE experience is preferred.
