Job Summary
The Civil Engineer manages and coordinates civil works, site activities, technical documentation, and project execution.
The role ensures work meets approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, schedules, and applicable UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor civil works at project sites.
- Review architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
- Coordinate civil activities with MEP, fire and safety, and other project teams.
- Prepare shop drawings, method statements, technical submissions, site reports, and inspection requests.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work follows approved drawings and quality standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, and suppliers.
- Monitor progress, quantities, measurements, materials, and project schedules.
- Identify site issues, provide technical solutions, and coordinate rectification or maintenance works.
- Assist with BOQs, quotations, material estimates, and project costing.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical updates to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum relevant experience is stated in the source as [X] years and is not specified.
- UAE construction or project experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of civil construction methods and site practices.
- Ability to interpret civil, architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of project coordination and site supervision.
- Good communication, problem-solving, independent working, and multitasking abilities.
- A valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1,500 to AED 2,000 per month.
