Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

Project and Installation Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate electrical works at project sites.
• Review electrical, ELV, fire alarm, and MEP drawings.
• Coordinate electrical works with civil, mechanical, architectural, and fire safety teams.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Monitor fire alarm, emergency lighting, exit lighting, and related systems where applicable.

Coordination and Documentation

• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor project progress and electrical activity schedules.
• Check materials, quantities, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Prepare inspection requests, site reports, progress reports, and project documentation.
• Attend technical and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and project teams.

Technical and Compliance Duties

• Identify technical issues and provide appropriate engineering solutions.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities and maintain proper records.
• Assist with BOQs, material estimates, quotations, and project requirements.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with UAE standards and authority requirements.
• Support maintenance, AMC, rectification, and troubleshooting works when required.
• Follow company health and safety procedures and perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant electrical engineering experience is required, but the source does not specify the number of years.
• Good knowledge of electrical installation and construction practices.
• Ability to interpret electrical, MEP, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

• UAE construction or project experience is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 1,500 to AED 2,000 per month.
