Location
- Japan (with overseas assignments, primarily in the United States & Asia)
- Background: Customer factory is specializing in engineering and manufacturing electrical equipment for thermal power plants, including combustion turbines and combined cycle power plants. With the rapid increase in overseas projects—especially in the U.S. due to data center construction—we are expanding our team to address the growing demand for skilled Test Field Advisors (TFA).
- Work Scope: You will be responsible for testing and commissioning electrical equipment related to generator control and protection systems at thermal power plant sites.
- Experience: 6 to 12 years
Equipment Includes
Generator Exciters
Static Frequency Converters (SFC)
Generator Control Panels
Protection Relays for Generator/Transformer
Auto Synchronizers
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing of generator-related panels and circuits at site
- Conduct interface checks between panels
- Commission generators and associated systems
- Execute site tests before and after GT (Gas Turbine) start-up
Typical Site Activities
Before GT Start: Power receiving Panel testing within scope Loop checks with external panels Interlock and phase relation tests
