Role Overview

The role supports the Final Assembly Line and helps mature processes for aircraft ATA systems and common functions.

The work involves aircraft systems installation, operation, validation, troubleshooting, documentation, and certification support.

Core Responsibilities

  • Validate production work orders, specific technical instructions, and validation and verification instructions for Final Assembly Line stations.
  • Validate key characteristics and parameters of production means, jigs, and tools and optimize related instructions.
  • Manage discrepancies and corrective actions through closure in coordination with MAP or MRB.
  • Support training and use Computer Aided Support Testing to execute and validate aircraft ATA system instructions.
  • Interface with structural design, Stress, Safety, and aircraft interiors teams as needed.

Certification and Technical Documentation

  • Apply regulatory and certification requirements to aircraft manufacturing and systems activities.
  • Draft technical notes and pre- and post-modification reports required for airworthiness certification.
  • Coordinate with services covering service bulletins, technical publications, industrialization, and related activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent, with knowledge of aerospace industry applications is required.
  • The role requires 5 to 9 years of experience.
  • Experience in an OEM Final Assembly Line or an aircraft-systems-related Tier 1 organization is required.
  • Working experience with applicable ATA systems and OEM methods, processes, and terminology is required.
  • Knowledge of certification analysis methods and FAA, EASA, Part 25, or MIL-STD regulations is required.
  • Knowledge of configuration control tools and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Knowledge of PLM, cloud, software management, or Model Based Systems Engineering is considered advantageous.
