Tendering Engineer/QS Engineer role based in Dubai.
The employer is seeking an immediate joiner for a full-time position.
Tendering Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities to understand project requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate tender submissions, quotations, and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with estimation, procurement, engineering, and project teams for accurate tender pricing.
- Prepare requests for quotation and obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Assist with quantity take-offs and cost evaluation during the tender stage.
Analysis and Submission Control
- Analyze project requirements and identify risks, exclusions, and clarifications.
- Prepare tender comparison sheets, pricing summaries, and submission documents.
- Ensure all tender documents are complete and submitted within required deadlines.
- Coordinate with clients and consultants on tender clarifications and additional requirements.
- Maintain submitted-tender records and update tender status reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Experience in tendering or estimation within the UAE construction industry.
- Good knowledge of construction drawings, bills of quantities, and specifications.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
Technical and Work Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant estimation or tendering software.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tender submissions.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Immediate joiner required.
