Center Core is seeking an HSE Engineer to join its site team in the UAE.
The role is responsible for implementing and maintaining HSE standards on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor site HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify hazards.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, project requirements, and company policies.
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training.
- Monitor permits for hot work, confined space entry, lifting, and work at height.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare corrective action reports.
- Monitor PPE use and safe work practices.
- Maintain HSE records, inspections, risk assessments, and safety documentation.
- Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Promote a proactive safety culture across the project.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience as a construction safety officer.
- Valid NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
- Knowledge of UAE construction HSE regulations and industry best practices.
- Experience with inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
- Strong communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
