Role Overview
Center Core is seeking a qualified Tendering Engineer/QS Engineer based in Dubai.
The role focuses on construction tender preparation, estimation, pricing, documentation, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
- Prepare tender submissions, quotations, commercial proposals, comparison sheets, and pricing summaries.
- Coordinate tender pricing with estimation, procurement, engineering, and project teams.
- Prepare RFQs and obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Assist with quantity take-offs and tender-stage cost evaluation.
- Identify project risks, exclusions, and clarifications.
- Ensure complete submissions are delivered by deadlines.
- Coordinate tender clarifications with clients and consultants.
- Maintain tender records and update tender status reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in tendering or estimation within the UAE construction industry.
- Good knowledge of construction drawings, bills of quantities, and specifications.
- Ability to manage multiple tender submissions under deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant estimation or tendering software.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
