Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site General Accountant role.
Manage financial transactions and ensure financial reports reflect accurate information.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reports and tax reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile entries and compare system reports with balances.
- Support inventory management, cost accounting, and project cost allocation.
- Perform bank reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Prepare payroll-related reports and manage fixed assets and depreciation.
- Review subcontractor claims against contract terms and site reports for payment issuance.
- Assist with accounting activities, reporting, and budgeting as required by management.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience using accounting software and knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in the construction industry is a plus.
