Role Overview
The company is seeking an experienced Telecom Designer for an ADNOC offshore oil and gas project.
The role supports telecom design during FEED and detailed engineering phases.
The position requires hands-on experience with SmartPlant 3D or AVEVA E3D and offshore oil and gas projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare telecom design deliverables for offshore oil and gas projects during FEED and detailed design.
- Develop equipment layouts, cable routing layouts, diagrams, hook-up drawings, and installation details.
- Prepare cable schedules, MTOs, and design documentation.
- Design and model telecom systems using SmartPlant 3D or AVEVA E3D.
- Coordinate with instrumentation, electrical, structural, piping, and civil disciplines.
- Review vendor drawings and incorporate vendor data.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC specifications, international codes, and project standards.
- Participate in design and model reviews.
- Resolve design-related technical queries for construction and commissioning teams.
Key Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in electronics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
