About the Role
The Electrical Engineer will support the design, engineering, and execution of electrical systems for large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects.
The role delivers electrical engineering solutions through FEED and Detailed Design while coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces and project stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform electrical engineering and design activities for industrial and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and review load lists, power demand calculations, single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, power distribution designs, cable sizing, routing, and schedules.
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable international standards.
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, structural, instrumentation, telecom, and HSE disciplines.
- Review vendor drawings, datasheets, and technical documents and provide technical comments.
- Support load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, and arc-flash studies.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, constructability reviews, and value engineering workshops.
- Support procurement through technical bid evaluations and vendor clarification reviews.
- Provide support during installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.
- Troubleshoot electrical system issues during project execution and commissioning.
- Prepare calculations, technical reports, and electrical engineering documentation.
