Role Purpose

  • We are looking for a proactive Technical Support Engineer to join our Technology Infrastructure team.
  • In this role, you will provide first line technical support across our retail stores and corporate offices, ensuring the availability and reliability of end user devices, Microsoft 365 services, POS systems, and IT infrastructure.
  • You will troubleshoot technical issues, support users, manage IT service requests, and contribute to maintaining a stable and efficient IT environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide first line technical support for hardware, software, Windows operating systems, and peripheral devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end user issues while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Administer Active Directory, including user account creation, modification, and access management.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Microsoft Office.
  • Troubleshoot networking issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, and Wi Fi connectivity.
  • Support retail technology, including POS terminals, barcode scanners, receipt printers, and related hardware.
  • Manage incidents and service requests using the IT ticketing system.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Escalate complex issues when necessary while ensuring timely resolution.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1 5 years of experience in Technical Support, IT Support, Helpdesk, or Service Desk.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and wireless networking.
  • Experience using ITSM or ticketing systems.
  • Experience supporting POS systems and retail technology is an advantage.
  • Retail or multi site support experience is preferred.
  • Arabic language proficiency is mandatory.
  • Valid Qatari driving license is required.
