About the Role
Emirates Group IT is seeking a Technical Product Owner for SkyCargo to lead product engineering teams, manage backlogs, and drive the evolution of cargo management systems. Candidates need 5+ years of IT experience and 2+ years as a Product Owner, with deep domain knowledge in airline cargo.

Responsibilities
- Be responsible for story content, acceptance criteria definition, and end story sign off across team backlogs
- Ensure Technical Debt and Non functional requirements are captured, refined, and prioritised across all sprints
- Capture additional BAU, Ceremony, and Spike activities and incorporate them into team backlogs
- Prepare contribution to PI demo in conjunction with other applicable Product Owners
- Maintain the quality and integrity of features within their technical and team boundaries
- Attend and contribute to key Product Management meetings, in particular PI Planning
- Define metrics to measure the success and performance of prioritised work
- Participate in establishing and growing a community of Product Owners
- Contribute to the Product Management Communities and their continual evolution
- Work with team(s) to identify and capture team driven innovation ideas
Requirements
- Degree or honours (12+3 or equivalent)
- Global Product (CSPO/SAFe/PSPO) trained and certified
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology
- 2+ years of practical experience working as a Product Owner/Manager in a team facing capacity
- Experience working within a Scaled Agile framework (desired)
- Demonstrated technical or domain expertise in airline cargo value stream
- Well versed with tools for Product Management aspects of software delivery
- Strong and concise communicator at peer, line, and stakeholder levels
- Experience working with Core Cargo Management Systems and Software Products
- Ability to lead, prepare and manage RFPs with external vendors (advantageous)

Job Purpose
