Responsibilities
- Develop optimal, fit for purpose, and aligned IT architecture solutions that meet customer requirements
- Ensure architecture is robust, appropriate, and high quality, conforming to corporate IT standards and roadmaps
- Take accountability for the end to end architecture, including architecture and technology decisions
- Develop Enterprise Architecture standards and guidelines in the information, application, and technology domains
- Work closely with Manager Enterprise Architecture and other peer architects in the development of technology advancements and adaptation of new technologies and patterns
- Continuously monitor industry trends, identify and evaluate relevant technologies and tools, and showcase business value by executing Proof of Concepts
- Establish policy, guidelines, and strategy for selecting system components and their designs
- Assess solution designs to ensure they effectively use architectural patterns and adhere to the guidelines
- Promote the reuse of solutions, platforms, and services
- Contribute to the enterprise architecture repository
- Guide, mentor, and motivate the development team members in adopting good engineering practices, tools, and techniques
- Conduct architecture reviews of vendor products as part of the selection process and other critical production applications
